Torn Skies

A tear in space-time dropped you into the heart of an empire. Six men of Kharsai city have their eyes on you while the same tear destroys their world.

The World

Kharsai, Capital of the Khashiri Empire

You were pulled through a Rift into Kharsai, the glittering, brutal heart of an empire held together by politics, faith, and the threat of steel. The court is split on whether you caused the apocalypse tearing through the sky, or whether you are the only one who can close it.

"You have no powers and no way back — for now. Your role is open. What you are, only you know."

The Rifts are visible from the steppe beyond the walls. They are growing. Time is not your ally.

Gurtai
Imperial palace. Beautiful and politically lethal.
Suukhei
Lower city. Markets, clinics, real life.
Kharkhorum
Military garrison. Eastern edge.
Tengri's Veil
Sacred quarter. The gods are listening.
Tal Nutag
The steppe beyond the walls. Where the Rifts can be seen.

The Court

The Six

Six men. Six different reasons to keep you close, or bury you. Find them across Kharsai — their location matters.

Altan
Grand Duke • Emperor's passed-over brother
The bitter younger brother
Batu
Court Scholar • Your assigned tutor
The fox who knows too much
Daumantas
Tolui Military Commander
The soldier who doesn't do feelings
Nazir
Baltar Trade Envoy

Getting Started

How to Play

Torn Skies runs on Worlds — a platform that quietly injects time, location, and character context into your RP. You just... write. The system does the rest, mostly.

01
Your model needs tool calling
Non-negotiable. Make sure tool calling is enabled before you start. Every world needs it.
02
Create a new party
Select New party, choose a scenario. This is your opening scene — it sets your location, party, and first greeting.
03
Just roleplay
That is genuinely it. The system runs in the background. You don't manage it unless something feels off.
04
Move time and location manually
The RP won't auto-advance time or place. Use the UI controls (top right: green for time, orange for map) when the scene shifts.
Character placing you at the Rift when you've moved? — Change location via the map.
Still writing morning scenes at midnight? — Forward time to something appropriate.
Can't find a character? — Change to a location they spawn in, or add them manually via the party panel.
Character ignoring you in a yellow zone? — Yellow zones are gated. Build affection first.

Questions? Bugs? Just want to yell about Batu?
